Jade Fontenot, DDS
I am a lifelong resident of south Louisiana. Originally from New Iberia, I went to high school at St. Thomas More in Lafayette and then entered the University of Louisiana. I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Chemistry and entered the dental field as a clinical assistant in private practice. I returned to school and completed my bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene through a joint program with UL and the LSU School of Dentistry. I worked for years as a dental hygienist before pursuing DDS degree at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After finishing my training in New Orleans, I moved home and practiced dentistry in Lafayette until finding a practice of my own in Crowley, LA in the summer of 2018.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Acadiana Dental Association and other local study clubs. I am also a 2017 member of the Louisiana Dental House of delegates.
My goal as a dentist is to help patients achieve the best oral health possible while giving them a smile they can be proud of!
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and 3 young children. I enjoy cooking, riding bikes, going to the beach and reading, although I'll admit I don't get to as much as I'd like. I am also enjoying getting to know Acadia parish and the wonderful people who live here
